Few things in life are certain, such as growing older, paying taxes, and Samsung to sue Apple. This has been an issue for Apple. Samsung has taken full advantage of the chance to poke fun at Apple for years. It publishes advertisements mocking Apple’s iPhone for lacking the features and capabilities of its Galaxy devices.
Since the introduction of foldable smartphones, Samsung has entered an entirely new league. There are no indications that Apple will release a foldable iPhone shortly. This provides Samsung with the ammunition it needs to mock Apple’s lack of a foldable phone.
Samsung is giving Apple some foldable envy
This advertisement appears to have only been posted online in China. It fits well with the month-long football world cup mania that has gripped the globe. It depicts a sea of Galaxy Z Flip smartphones partaking in what is commonly known as a “Mexican wave.”
The camera then pans to two iPhones that are disappointed that they cannot join in the fun because they cannot fold. Apple is currently unable to respond to this concept, which is certainly entertaining. Apple has been rumored to be developing foldable smartphones, but it is unknown how long it will take for one to reach the market.
We have previously discussed how Apple appears to have abandoned innovation as its business priorities have shifted. Much more emphasis is being placed on the company’s subscription businesses, which are literal cash cows. It appears that Cupertino has put iPhone upgrades on the back burner.
However, it would be uncharacteristic of Samsung to pass up any opportunity to poke fun at its chief competitor. Grab some popcorn and we can sit back and watch it all unfold.
