As part of the stable Android 13 update, the Galaxy S21 series received the November 2022 security update early last month. Now, the same update is rolling out to carrier-locked Galaxy S21 devices in the United States.
Firmware version G99xUSQS5DVK7 is the new security update for carrier-locked Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices. It enhances the security and dependability of three smartphones. Expect no new features to be included in this software update. This new software is currently being rolled out on the Xfinity Mobile network and may reach other networks within the next few days.
Users of the Galaxy S21 series on the Xfinity Mobile network can download the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can manually flash the new firmware file by manually downloading it from our firmware database.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S21 series with Android 11 early in 2021. Late in 2021, the devices in the lineup received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update, and a few weeks ago, they received the Android 13-based One UI 5 update. They will receive two additional Android OS updates within the next two years.
