At the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas, 8K televisions are all the rage, and Samsung will not allow its competitors to steal the spotlight. Today, the company introduced its new 8K QLED TV series, which will be available in various sizes, including a 98-inch model.
At 98 inches, this is Samsung’s largest QLED television to date. In addition to 65-, 75-, 82-, and 85-inch models, the 8K series will also be available in 65-, 75-, 82-, and 85-inch sizes.

According to the company, the embedded Quantum Processor 8K chip can enhance content from any source to “near-perfect 8K quality.” This is something that the TV will have to rely on for a couple of years, as native 8K content will not be the norm for some time.
There is an improved version of Bixby in this series that provides even more voice command options for controlling content. A superior Universal Guide utilizes artificial intelligence to assist users in discovering content to watch. It compiles suggestions based on a user’s subscription services, TV viewing habits, and preferred content.
Samsung has not yet announced pricing and availability details for the new Q900 QLED series, but you can bet that it will be pricey, especially the 98-inch model.
