The newly announced Ultimate GeForce Now membership from Nvidia offers up to 240 FPS gaming with GeForce RTX 4080.
Today, Nvidia announced its new GeForce Now Ultimate membership tier, which offers a more fluid, faster, and superior cloud-based gaming experience.
The Ultimate tier employs upgraded GeForce NOW RTX 4080 SuperPODs, which are capable of delivering over 64 teraflops of graphics processing power per user.
Nvidia is quick to point out that this is more than five times the performance of an Xbox Series X and nearly 1.75 times the performance of the previous-generation SuperPODs.
The Ultimate tier also enables players to play for up to eight hours per session, provides 4K resolution, and grants players access to the fastest servers.
The Ultimate membership costs $20 per month or $100 per six months, the same as the previous GeForce RTX 3080 plan.
Members of GeForce NOW RTX 3080 will be automatically converted to GeForce NOW Ultimate.
GeForce NOW provides access to more than 1,500 games via Safari on iOS and Macs running macOS 10.11 or later.
