OWC has announced that it will acquire Akitio, creating a larger organization focused on the business-to-business market.
Both companies target an audience consisting primarily of Mac users. By joining forces, they can develop new accessories and software for the mid to high-end market. Akitio is well-known for its well-designed and popular Thunderbolt 3 accessories.

I anticipate tremendous opportunities for our team and our clients.”
OWC manufactures its storage and Thunderbolt accessories, as well as premium memory and upgrade kits for a variety of Apple devices.
