Nerf Hyperfire Review – Nerf Hyperfire Mod

The new Nerf Elite Hyperfire came out only in spring 2016 and is now also available in the USA. The new design shocked with the sifi-like big head of the weapon, while the rest of the blaster is aligned with the typical corners and curves of the elite series.

Many Nerf fans have set some great expectations in the Hyperfire, but can they meet them? Hasbro applies the Hyperfire full-bodied with a range up to 27 meters and “The fastest motorized Nerf Dart Blaster.”

Included in the package are the drum magazine with 25 darts, the best Nerf Gun ever itself and the obligatory operating booklet.

Design and ergonomics of the Nerf Hyperfire

The special feature of the Hyperfire is its grip design, which is very similar to the P90 of the Belgian manufacturer FN. As a result, and through the big head, a very futuristic appearance is produced. Also, she looks very big and bullish in the pictures but is just under 1/3 shorter than the Rapidstrike. The colors are in the usual elite blue-white and fit well into the overall picture.

This Nerf Elite is a pure automatic blaster and does not work without batteries; there is also no single shot or semi-automatic function. These are placed behind a flap with two screws in the piston, which affects the balance of the blaster positively. Less positive is that we only have a Tac Rail available directly above the mouth opening. Both over and under the mouth are loop holders for a trawling. This is so far okay, only uses the Nerf Hyperfire a new form of the mouth, which is why no mounts such as mufflers and similar from the N-Strike Elite series can find it a pity, the drama is less. Modders find a way and Nerf fans who put on shelfware console themselves with the fact that most of the attachments deteriorate the performance.

After all, all magazines of the series are compatible, except for the usual standard, only the position of the magazine ejection button. This is attached to the Nerf Hyperfire opposite to the Prime Trigger and is triggered by exerting the middle finger to the front. This is strange at first, but the path is short, and you do not have to take the second hand to help change the magazine.

The input-mentioned P90 handle is unfortunately somewhat misfortune, even if the idea is good, many grown hands the openings are too narrow, always pushing somewhere slightly uncomfortable. Have you only tested with small children? I do not know; the handle is ergonomically ergonomic.

Equipment and performance

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Hyperfire features new flywheels that are not parallel to each other, but slightly bent, giving them more grip and more pressure, resulting in a faster dart than most other Nerf guns. On average, the muzzle velocity is 22.5 m / s.

Especially the feeding mechanism, against all other Blaster of the elite series, the Nerf Hyperfire has a running belt at the top of the barrel, this grips the darts on and off the magazine. In cooperation with the new Fly-Wheels, a well-running mechanism gives the impression that it does a lot of smoother work. For example in Rapidstrike.

The biggest aggravating factor of the Nerf Hyperfire, unfortunately, lies here justified. In other nerf blowers the feeding mechanism pushes the dart, then it does not matter how well this is still in shape (squashed, worn, flat from the riser, etc.). The new mechanism works only with flawless new darts because the dart is too flat and not perfectly round the conveyor belt cannot reach the deck.

The accuracy is, on the other hand, purely average, the range is around 8 to 10 meters, and there are outliers in both directions.

Nerf Hyperfire Mod

The new blaster will be enough for all random players; the drum magazine allows lots of action and the blaster runs around with new arrows. Wehrmutstropfen is the average range (there goes more), susceptible feeding system as well as a wobbling Jam Door which can then lead to the system stop.
