Best iPhones To Buy 2022: The Top Apple Phones Compared

Depending on your needs and budget, the best iPhone will vary from person to person. With the introduction of the iPhone 14 series, Apple now offers eight distinct models, ranging from $429 for the iPhone SE (2022) to $1,599 for an iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1TB of storage.

Apple currently sells eight variants of the iPhone, a mix of new and older models dating back to 2020. Below are the various iPhone models, their release date, the number of rear cameras they have, their processors, and their current list price, which for some phones includes a $30 activation fee that is waived if the iPhone is activated on a carrier at the time of purchase.

Our Top Picks

What are the best iPhones?

The iPhone 14 Pro Max has the best cameras, the most powerful processor, and the longest-lasting battery that Apple has ever produced. It replaces the notch with a new display feature called Dynamic Island, and iPhone owners can finally enjoy a durable display. The iPhone 14 Pro introduces many of the same features as the iPhone XS Max, albeit in a $100 less expensive device than Apple’s more expensive Pro model.

A comparison of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro reveals that the most significant changes to the iPhone 14 lineup are found in the Pro models. But don’t overlook the standard iPhone 14, which has a better camera, a brighter display, and valuable new features such as crash detection and the ability to send satellite-based emergency texts. Best of all, it has maintained its predecessor’s $799 price. The iPhone 14 Plus offers an iPhone 14 Pro Max-sized display and a lengthy battery life for an additional $100.

Is it still exceeding your budget? The iPhone 13 has been the best for most users due to its powerful cameras and A15 processor. With the introduction of the iPhone 14, its price has decreased to $699. The cost of the iPhone 13 mini has been reduced to $599.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 is now priced at $599, the same as the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini. As a result of Apple removing the iPhone 11 from its lineup, the iPhone SE (2022) costs $429 and is the cheapest 5G phone available.

How we evaluate iPhones

As with every other smartphone we test at Tom’s Guide, iPhones are evaluated for days in real-world scenarios. We also benchmark Apple’s smartphones using a variety of performance-measuring applications, allowing us to compare iPhone performance to that of Android devices. In addition to synthetic benchmarks, we conduct real-world tests, such as a video transcoding test in Adobe Premiere Rush, to compare the iPhone’s processing speed to that of other devices.

In our laboratory, we use a light meter to collect display quality data, such as brightness and color accuracy, to evaluate the displays of the best iPhones. Our proprietary battery test determines battery life by continuously streaming webpages over an LTE network; we then test the charging speed of iPhones in 15-minute intervals.

We use each iPhone under review to take photos in various environments to compare cameras. Additionally, we bring a comparable smartphone to compare the iPhone’s photographic output.

These factors contribute to our final verdict: iOS enhancements, gaming performance, and speaker evaluation.

Best Iphones To Buy 2022: The Top Apple Phones Compared

We can help you find a phone you’ll enjoy using, regardless of whether you’re a longtime iPhone user or switching from Android to iPhone. Here is how we currently rank the best iPhones on the market.

1. The best iPhone you can buy: iPhone 14 Pro Max

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”1″]

If you want the best iPhone regardless of price, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is your only option. This phone features the A16 Bionic processor, the improved 48MP camera, and the eye-catching Dynamic Island feature that replaces the notch, all major upgrades to Apple’s Pro lineup. In addition, you receive a 6.7-inch display and a battery to match. In our tests, this battery allowed the iPhone 14 Pro Max to run for over 14 hours, the longest time ever recorded by an iPhone.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max continues to impress. The new Action mode captures fluid video even when you and your subject are in motion. The always-on display is an elegant addition to the iPhone, fulfilling a long-requested feature. Even the front-facing camera has been upgraded with autofocus and a larger aperture to let in more light.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max is not only the best smartphone currently available but also the best iPhone ever produced by Apple.

  • Screen Size: 6.7-inch OLED (2796 x 1290; 120Hz)
  • Processor: A16 Bionic
  • Cameras: 48MP (f/1.8) main with 2x optical zoom, 12MP (f/2.2) ultrawide, 12MP (f/2.8) telephoto with 3x optical zoom, LiDAR / 12MP front (f/1.9)
  • RAM/Storage: 6GB/128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB
  • Superb 48MP camera
  • Very smart Dynamic Island
  • Best-in-class battery life
  • Still just 20W charging
  • A bit thicker and heavier than the iPhone 13 Pro Max

2. Apple’s best features for under $1,000: iPhone 14 Pro

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”2″]

The iPhone 14 Pro is currently the best iPhone for most consumers. It offers significant improvements over the iPhone 13 Pro in raw performance and new features, with the iPhone 14 Pro sporting crucial new technology, such as Apple’s new Dynamic Island camera cutout.

The oblong-shaped cutout replaces the standard Face ID notch. It is an impressive combination of software and hardware that integrates the notch into the iOS experience, displaying timers, music controls, and more without the need to access the lock screen. It is an excellent example of Apple’s keen software and hardware design sensibilities.

It is also the first iPhone to feature an always-on display, and in typical Apple fashion, it is superior to the Android competition. While the screen is dimmed, you still have full access to your wallpaper, time, widgets, notifications, and music controls without significantly impacting battery life.

Using 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, the new primary camera offers an impressive boost to overall detail and low-light photography. The 48MP rear camera is another highlight of this year’s Pro model. Apple claims a twofold improvement across the board for the 14 Pro’s cameras.

In contrast to the iPhone 13, Pro Max, and (likely) the iPhone 14 Plus & Pro Max, battery life is the only real letdown. While the phone will continue to function if left in standby mode, you’ll likely only be able to use it for a single day before a recharge is required.

  • Screen size: 6.1-inch OLED (2556 x 1179; 120Hz)
  • CPU: A16 Bionic
  • Cameras: 48MP (f/1.8) main with 2x optical zoom, 12MP (f/2.2) ultrawide, 12MP (f/2.8) telephoto with 3x optical zoom, LIDAR / 12MP front (f/1.9)
  • RAM/Storage: 6GB/128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB
  • Unique Dynamic Island camera cutout
  • Impressive 48Mp snapper
  • All-round camera enhancements
  • Always-on display tech
  • More expensive in the UK
  • Average battery life

3. Best low-cost big-screen iPhone: iPhone 14 Plus

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”3″]

The iPhone 14 Plus is the best iPhone for budget-conscious individuals who prefer a larger screen. This device offers a 6.7-inch OLED display for $200 less than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, making it ideal for watching movies and television shows on the go or taking photos with a larger viewfinder. With a more extensive primary sensor and Apple’s Photonic Engine for better low-light images, the enhanced cameras on the iPhone 14 Plus produce stunning photos.

As much as we like the regular iPhone 14, you’ll want to get the Plus if you want more time between charges. The iPhone 14 Plus lasted nearly 12 hours on our web surfing test, placing this device on our best phone battery life list. The iPhone 14 Plus has a few flaws, including a 60Hz refresh rate and a lack of a telephoto lens, but it’s an excellent value overall.

  • Screen size: 6.7-inch OLED (2778 x 1284)
  • CPU: A15 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP (f/1.5) main, 12MP (f/2.4) ultrawide / 12MP front (f/1.9)
  • RAM/Storage: 6GB/128GB, 256GB, 512GB
  • Big screen for a good price
  • Long battery life
  • Great cameras with Action mode video
  • No telephoto lens
  • Display refresh rate stuck at 60Hz

4. Best for most people: iPhone 14

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”4″]

The iPhone 14 replaces the iPhone 13 in Apple’s lineup and is the iPhone of choice for most consumers, like its predecessor. Despite lacking the Pro model’s 48Mp snapper, it has excellent cameras, an extraordinary battery life that lasts all day, and a great, albeit 60Hz, display.

It’s large enough to enjoy the display without being cumbersome like the iPhone Plus and Max models, and it doesn’t weigh much. This is due to using an aluminum frame instead of stainless steel in the Pro models. However, the aluminum sides of the iPhone 14 feel great and do not collect fingerprints like the Pro models.

Add additional features such as complete waterproofing, wireless charging, satellite connectivity, and auto-crash detection, and you have an iPhone that will last you four or five years.

It’s not quite enough for iPhone 13 owners to upgrade, however. This price should have a high refresh rate display and the ability to shoot in RAW format so that the camera can be used as a professional tool – this was possible on the iPhone 13 Pro. The iPhone 14 has the same camera and chipset.

  • Screen size: 6.1-inch OLED (2532 x 1170)
  • CPU: A15 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP (f/1.5) main, 12MP (f/2.4) ultrawide / 12MP front (f/1.9)
  • RAM/Storage: 6GB/128GB, 256GB, 512GB
  • Outstanding battery life
  • Great performance
  • Superb dual cameras
  • 60Hz display
  • Slow charging
  • No RAW photography

5. Best for battery life: iPhone 13 Pro Max

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”5″]

In contrast to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, there are no differences between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Pro, making it a less enticing option if you dislike its large display.

It features a large 6.7in Super Retina XDR OLED display with the same 120Hz ProMotion technology as the iPhone 13 Pro, capable of switching between 10 and 120Hz depending on the activity. It utilizes the same A15 Bionic processor as the other models, albeit with a rumored increase in RAM.

Like the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max excels in the camera department. The 13 Pro Max is equipped with a 12MP primary camera with sensor-shift OIS and a wider f/1.5 aperture, allowing it to take excellent photos during the day and at night. Additionally, the ultrawide and telephoto lenses have been improved, and Apple ProRaw video recording is available for professionals.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max truly shines in the battery department; it offers an additional 2 hours over the already-impressive 12 Pro Max, outperforming not only every iPhone before it but also some of the best Android competition.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max’s larger display and battery make it challenging to hold with one hand and noticeably heavier. Coupled with the higher starting price and the fact that the latest Pro Max lacks any distinguishing features, it is only recommended for those who require a large display.

  • Screen size: 6.7-inch
  • CPU: A15 Bionic
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB
  • Rear camera: 12MP+12MP+12MP
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • Longest battery life of any iPhone
  • Gorgeous 120Hz 6.7in display
  • Great camera performance
  • Very expensive
  • Large, bulky form factor

6. The better iPhone 14: iPhone 13 Pro

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”6″]

The iPhone 13 Pro has most of the same strengths and weaknesses as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, with its battery life being a highlight in our tests, albeit not quite as good as the Max model, and its A15 Bionic chipset delivering astonishingly powerful performance.

Users with keen eyesight may notice that the iPhone 14 borrows its most notable upgrades from the iPhone 13 Pro, including the same primary 12MP camera and an enhanced five-core GPU variant of the A15.

Suppose you can find a good 13 Pro deal that undercuts the 14. In that case, you get the same lead camera and chip, a 120Hz ProMotion display, faster charging, longer battery life, a better camera system, more memory, and an excellent finish.

Regarding the camera, the 13 Pro introduced a macro mode for capturing more explicit images of small subjects. In addition, you get a 120Hz display and a refined design, including a smaller notch compared to the iPhone 12 Pro.

These factors indicate that this is still an exceptional iPhone for those who desire a compact, 6.1-inch display or do not want to spend as much as the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now that its successors are available, hopefully, the price will continue to decrease.

  • Screen size: 6.1-inch
  • CPU: A15 Bionic
  • Rear camera: 12MP+12MP+12MP
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB
  • Strong battery life
  • Great performance
  • Limited design changes
  • 4K ProRes limited in 128GB

7. Still a strong contender: iPhone 13

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”7″]

Despite being replaced by the iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 is still an excellent option for those who can obtain it. It has the same general design as the updated iPhone 14 and the same A15 Bionic processor at its core.

It features the Sensor-Shift OIS that was previously exclusive to the high-end iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, the front-facing camera lacks the autofocus technology of the more recent model. Additionally, the battery life has increased by two hours compared to its predecessor.

However, despite the iPhone 13’s still-impressive overall performance, it falls short in a few key areas. It is limited to 60Hz, down from 120Hz on Pro models, and while an ultrawide camera with macro photography capabilities is included, there is no telephoto lens for close-up portrait shots. Consider the slower maximum charge speed as well.

However, none of these are deal-breakers, and if you’re not overly concerned with having the best of everything, the iPhone 13 is a fantastic smartphone at an even more attractive price.

  • Screen Size: 6.1-inch OLED (2532 x 1170)
  • Processor: A15 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP wide (ƒ/1.6), 12MP ultrawide (ƒ/2.4) / 12MP front (ƒ/2.2)
  • RAM/Storage: Unknown/64GB, 128GB, 256GB
  • Gorgeous design
  • Great battery life
  • Strong performance
  • 60Hz display
  • No telephoto lens

8. Best small-screen iPhone: iPhone 13 mini

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”8″]

If the iPhone 13’s 6.1 display is too large for your tastes, the iPhone 13 mini is for you. It offers the same iPhone experience as the standard model, complete with an A15 Bionic at its core, Apple’s Super Retina XDR display (albeit at a smaller 5.4in), and improved primary and ultrawide lenses, sporting sensor-shift OIS like the more premium models, but in a significantly smaller body.

The iPhone 13 mini is ideal for use with one hand, but the smaller display makes it less suitable for watching YouTube videos and Netflix movies.

Despite a longer battery life than the 12 Mini due to its diminutive size, it cannot compete with larger models. Additionally, it continues to be limited to 12W MagSafe charging, compared to 15W for the rest of the line.

  • Screen Size: 5.4-inch OLED (2340 x 1080)
  • Processor: A15 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP wide (ƒ/1.6), 12MP ultrawide (ƒ/2.4) / 12MP front (ƒ/2.2)
  • RAM/Storage: Unknown/64GB, 128GB, 256GB
  • Perfect small-screen experience
  • No compromise on performance
  • Great cameras
  • 60Hz display
  • Small battery gains
  • Slower MagSafe charging

9. Most affordable iPhone: iPhone SE (2022)

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”9″]

Apple’s iPhone SE lineup is devoted to function over form, prioritizing raw performance over design or aesthetics, and that’s true of the most recent 2022 variant as well – perhaps to its detriment.

With the same A15 Bionic chipset and 5G connectivity as the iPhone 13 series, the iPhone SE outperforms every Android competitor in its price range. 5G connectivity is a welcome addition.

The iPhone SE’s outdated design feels more dated than ever, and the 720p LCD appears not only small but increasingly incapable of rendering apps and websites designed for larger mobile displays.

On the rear is a single 12-megapixel camera. Despite having a chipset that is more than capable of supporting advanced shooting modes such as Night Mode and Cinematic Video mode, it lacks advanced shooting modes such as Night Mode and Cinematic Video mode.

For almost everyone else, a superior iPhone is available.

  • Display size: 4.7-inch LCD (1344 x 750)
  • CPU: A15 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP (f/1.8) rear; 7MP (f/2.2) front
  • RAM / Storage: 4GB / 64GB, 128GB, 256GB
  • A15 Bionic chipset
  • 5G connectivity
  • Affordable price
  • Dated design
  • Small 720p LCD display
  • Single rear camera

10. Top iPhone features for an even lower price than before: iPhone 12

[content-egg module=AmazonNoApi template=item groups=”10″]

The iPhone 12 is the only 2020 iPhone model still available from Apple. It costs $599, the same as the iPhone 13 mini, but has a larger 6.1-inch display.

Opt for the iPhone 12; you’ll receive a powerful A14 Bionic processor and comprehensive 5G connectivity. The iPhone 12 has only two rear cameras, but they perform better than ever thanks to software enhancements made by Apple. A 7-element lens on the main camera combined with a wider aperture means better photos in low light and sharper images than Apple’s older phones.

Apple has removed the LCD panel from the iPhone 12’s predecessor and replaced it with an OLED screen that offers precisely 6.1 inches of display space. The base model is still limited to 64GB of storage, and it does not come with a charger, but other than that, this iPhone remains an excellent value.

  • Screen Size: 6.1-inch OLED (2532 x 1170)
  • Processor: A14 Bionic
  • Cameras: 12MP wide (ƒ/1.6), 16MP ultrawide (ƒ/2.4) rear / 12MP front (ƒ/2.2)
  • RAM/Storage: 4GB/64GB, 128GB, 256GB
  • Sub-$600 price
  • Impressive cameras
  • Comprehensive 5G coverage
  • Only 64GB of storage in base model
  • No charger in the box

What should I consider when buying an iPhone?

Screen size

One of the most important considerations when purchasing an iPhone is the screen size you desire or feel most comfortable using – we don’t all have enormous hands to use the iPhone 14 Pro Max with one hand, do we?

If you prefer smaller displays, the iPhone 13 mini, with its 5.4-inch display, is your best option. It discontinued the iPhone 14 series, lacking the newest features, but it is the most portable iPhone in Apple’s lineup. The 4.7-inch iPhone SE has a smaller display than the 13-inch iPad mini but is slightly larger because its bezels are much broader.

It then ascends to the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. If you desire the most prominent display possible, consider the iPhone 14 Plus or iPhone 14 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen.

Performance is an additional factor to consider when purchasing an iPhone, as you will likely want to get the most out of your device – especially considering Apple’s prices.

The bad news is that, unlike previous iPhone generations, the iPhone 14 lineup features a processor split. The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus feature the same A15 Bionic as last year’s iPhone 13 Pro, whereas the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are the only devices to feature the 4nm A16 Bionic. You must invest in Apple’s most expensive models if you want the best performance.

If cameras are essential to you, you face a difficult decision, as the iPhone lineup varies significantly in this regard. If you want the best camera experience, the iPhone 14 Pro range, with its primary 48Mp sensor, 12Mp ultra-wide sensor, and 12Mp 3x telephoto sensor, may be your best option.

If you can do without the upgraded 48-megapixel camera and 3x telephoto lens, you can choose the standard iPhone 14 with its dual 12-megapixel main and ultrawide cameras.

The iPhone SE has a single 12-megapixel camera on the back, making it less capable than more recent iPhones. If you’re not too concerned with photography, the single lens will suffice, but don’t expect the same level of detail as Apple’s premium options.

Battery life

Historically, iPhones have had an issue with battery life, especially compared to their Android counterparts with enormous batteries.

Apple has made significant strides in battery life over the past few years, with the 13 Pro Max offering all-day battery life with average use – and then some – and we anticipate the same from the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the new iPhone 14 Plus.

Expect Apple’s large-screen models to have longer battery life due to the correlation between battery capacity and screen size, which determines how large the battery can be.

Apple added 5G support to the iPhone 12 lineup, so if you want the fastest connection speeds, you’ll need to purchase a newer iPhone.

5G availability is still limited in many countries and regions, but keep in mind that it is expanding, so upgrading to 5G could be viewed as futureproofing if you continue using the same iPhone for at least the next two years.

Your budget is the most crucial factor to consider: how much do you wish to spend on an iPhone? The iPhone 14 Pro is a phenomenal smartphone, but it should start at $999, not to mention the £150 increase compared to the iPhone 13 Pro in the UK, which now begins at £1,099.

Incredibly, the most expensive iPhone is the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which ranges in price from $1,099/£1,199 to $1,599/£1,749 (starting at $1,099/£1,199).

If you want flagship specifications, the iPhone 14’s $799/£849 price tag is much more appealing, whereas the 14 Plus’s $849/£949 price tag offers the large-screen experience at a more reasonable price.

The iPhone SE is the least expensive iPhone at $429/£449, and while it offers the same A15 chipset as the iPhone 13 range, there are compromises in design and other areas.

However, the iPhone SE may be your best bet if you want to enter the iOS ecosystem at the lowest possible cost. Before making a purchase, we advise you to review our current list of the best smartphones to understand the smartphone market better and ensure you’re making the right choice.

How to choose the best iPhone for you

When shopping for an iPhone, prioritize the capabilities and features that are most important to you. If battery life is significant, look for an iPhone with a larger screen, as their batteries tend to be proportionately larger. In addition, because iOS is generally efficient in energy consumption, even most miniature models have above-average battery life.

The top-tier Pro variants are a no-brainer if you base your next iPhone purchase on camera quality. Their triple-lens designs allow you to capture multiple perspectives, from ultra-wide-angle shots to portraits with shallow depth of field. They also perform exceptionally well in challenging lighting conditions, such as shooting in a dimly lit room or at night.

Nevertheless, if saving the most money possible on your next smartphone purchase is your top priority, you should have no qualms about purchasing either the iPhone SE or an older model at a lower price. They may be on the lower end of Apple’s price spectrum, but they are still made of premium materials and have sufficient power and performance to last for years.

However, storage must be considered. The base model of the $599 iPhone 12 only includes 64GB of storage; if you want more space, you’ll have to pay more. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini solve this issue by increasing the base storage capacity to 128GB. The iPhone 14 lineup also begins at 128GB.

If you purchase an iPhone directly from Apple, you may be able to save money by trading in your current device. Apple’s trade-in rebates offer discounts ranging from $40 to $720 if you own an iPhone 7 or later. (The trade-in value increases for newer models.) Note that an additional $30 will be added to the base price if you purchase an unlocked iPhone from Apple. (The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are exceptions.)

When Apple introduces a new iPhone model, it reduces the price of older models. Since the iPhone 14 was released, the costs for the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, and iPhone 12 have decreased.

All the iPhones listed here are compatible with iOS 16, which is now available for download. (The iPhone 14 models ship with iOS 16 preinstalled.) Check out our guide to the iOS 16 features, including tips and tricks on the iPhone software’s latest features.

With the iPhone out, expect iPhone 15 rumors to pick up. Yes, that phone’s launch is a year away, but we’re already hearing about potential features like a periscope camera for better zooming and USB-C replacing the phone’s Lightning port. A new iPhone 15 Ultra model is rumored to replace the iPhone 14 Pro Max in a year’s time.

All iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 models and select iPhone 12 models are compatible with 5G wireless technology. Even the most recent iPhone SE (2022) is compatible with Sub-6, low band 5G networks.

5G continues to be rolled out across the United States. While it is debatable whether the network speeds provide benefits, the extensive coverage of low band 5G has solved my connectivity issues in areas with spotty coverage with older iPhone models.

Moreover, the 5G iPhone models contain Qualcomm chipsets, which provide better RF reception than the Intel chipsets found in previous iPhone models.

All iPhone models on this list are compatible with Qi wireless charging. Wireless charging is becoming an expected feature for all manufacturers of modern smartphones.

Meanwhile, only the iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and iPhone 12 models are compatible with Apple’s MagSafe technology.

MagSafe is a magnetic connection system that enables you to connect to wireless chargers with precise positioning and alignment. MagSafe is also compatible with accessories like wallets and kickstands. Extra security when your iPhone is docked to a wireless charger can be a nice bonus, but it’s unnecessary and shouldn’t be a deciding factor. Apple’s first-party wallets and battery packs that use MagSafe have also received mixed reviews, making them difficult to sell to anyone but the most ardent Apple fans.

Best iPhone in 2022: Which of Apple’s Phones Is Right for You?
  • iPhone 14. Best iPhone for most people. $829 at Apple.
  • iPhone 14 Pro. Best premium iPhone. $999 at Apple.
  • iPhone 13. Best iPhone value. $729 at Apple.
  • iPhone 14 Plus. Most affordable big iPhone. $929 at Apple.
  • iPhone 13 Mini. Best small iPhone. $629 at Apple.

The $800 iPhone 13 poses the best value in relation to specs, features, and design among all the iPhone 13 models, including the Pro models. The iPhone 13 runs on the same A15 Bionic processor as the Pro models, which means it has the same performance.

If you’re using an iPhone 11, we recommend upgrading to an iPhone 14 (or even an iPhone 13). In the last three years, Apple has made enough changes to features including battery life, performance, screen quality, cameras and durability to merit buying a new iPhone.

In fact, some of the extras like the satellite connectivity option aren’t available for Indian consumers. Now, that makes it even more sense to opt for the iPhone 13 right now. Last year’s iPhone model is also cheaper now and that makes the iPhone 13 an even better deal.

The ‌iPhone 12‌ is roughly expected to be 18.4% faster in single-core performance and 17.6% faster overall in multi-core scoring than the ‌iPhone‌ 11. For machine learning, the A14 Bionic features a 16-core Neural Engine, resulting in an 80 percent increase in performance.

Yes. If you’re looking for an affordable iPhone with a great camera, long battery life, and a high-quality display — a used iPhone 12 is absolutely worth it, especially when you consider the savings associated with buying a gently used model.

If you want the best iPhone regardless of price, look no further than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. All of the big changes Apple made to its Pro lineup are on display in this phone — the faster A16 Bionic processor, the improved 48MP camera and the eye-catching Dynamic Island feature that replaces the notch.

Apple iPhones are generally considered to be the best in the smartphone industry by many although they can cost you a a lot too. However, with the launch of the iPhone 14, Apple has reduced the price of the iPhone 13, making it the best smartphone to purchase in 2022.

The iPhone 14 has two cameras on the back, just like the iPhone 13, but the newer model includes a faster aperture (ƒ/1.5 rather than ƒ/1.6) and a larger sensor on the main camera to bring better overall performance and improvements in low-light shooting.

Since the beginning, we have reviewed iPhone models and nearly every major Android smartphone. When we test a phone, we primarily use it as our only smartphone to determine how well it performs the daily tasks, we all require. Thus, we can determine where it excels and where it may fail.
