What is an enterprise laptop?

A business laptop is intended for use in the workplace. Manufacturers optimize business laptops for more extended active periods and travel than personal laptops.

Consequently, a business laptop’s battery life, speed, and power will be more efficient to accommodate a 40-hour workweek. As organizations transition to new technologies, laptops’ battery life, speed, and power are even more crucial for supporting video conferencing.

Factors to Consider When Buying Laptops for Business

It is not a secret that purchasing additional equipment for your business can often result in a significant increase in output.

There are, however, several considerations to keep in mind when shopping for a laptop for business purposes. Not sure where to begin? Not to worry, we have you covered.

Let’s examine everything that you need to know.

This is one of the most important considerations because it will determine many potential options. However, sometimes business owners lack a concrete budget for this type of equipment. To calculate this, you must determine the value a business laptop will bring to your organization.

This value could be worth tens of thousands of dollars if it significantly increases your overall productivity. This justifies the purchase of an expensive laptop in this situation.

If you only need an additional computer for basic tasks, it is advised that you search for a less expensive model that can still meet your needs.

The specifications of your laptop will be determined by the tasks for which it will be used. For instance, if you intend to use this computer for intensive video editing, you will require a substantial amount of RAM, a powerful graphics card, and a superior processor.

It is also important to note that the recommended RAM a program needs to run efficiently is the bare minimum. If you intend to perform intensive processes within the software, you will require even more RAM.

In most cases, video editing software may only require 8 GB of RAM. However, if you don’t have more than that, exporting and rendering may experience frequent slowdowns.

If you purchase a laptop with a potent processor, you should investigate how well that model can handle extreme heat. Occasionally, specific processors are not designed to run on laptops for extended periods.

Operating System

It should come as no surprise that your laptop’s operating system is an essential feature to consider. A frequent scenario involves a business owner who relies heavily on Windows-only applications to run their enterprise.

While Apple products are renowned for their user-friendliness, they cannot run Windows programs without additional steps. If the operating system for this computer is unimportant, select the one with which you are most comfortable.

Otherwise, ensure that your laptop can run all the required software.

Battery Life

Some laptops have an exceptionally long battery life that can last an entire workday, allowing users to work as they please.

However, other laptops may only last a few hours. This renders them impractical for use on long car/train rides, parks, or without an electrical outlet.

If you always use your laptop indoors, you can circumvent this issue. However, you can quickly become a problem for those who require several additional hours of battery life.

If you purchase a laptop instead of a desktop computer, you will likely transport it frequently. Daily use of a cumbersome laptop can quickly become a major inconvenience.

Although the ideal size varies from person to person, you should select a couch that you can easily move around. Size is also crucial, as it determines the screen’s dimensions.

Some users require larger screens than others, and it may not always be advantageous to sacrifice screen space for portability.

Display Resolution

Regarding screens, you will also need to consider the laptop’s resolution during your search. Those who work in graphic design or video production will want to obtain the highest resolution possible.

This will allow them to enhance their work experience and produce higher-quality results.

Since having a screen that is pleasing to the eye could make or break your performance, you may also want to consider whether a touchscreen computer is suitable for you.

Touchscreens are extremely useful, but they frequently become smudged. Unless you intend to use a cleaning cloth throughout every session, you should avoid using this feature.

You are strongly advised not to purchase a laptop without first using it for at least a brief period. Otherwise, you may discover that you cannot work effectively on your purchased computer. It will also diminish the overall quality of your experience.

In some instances, users return non-ergonomic laptops in favor of a new model that is more physically comfortable to use.

10 Best Business Laptops You Can Buy

If you’re looking for a laptop for work, your best option is an ultraportable that’s easy to carry around and has a battery that lasts all day. Additionally, it would help if you considered the display, keyboard, touchpad, and webcam, as their quality can significantly affect the overall user experience.   Without the need for a separate dock, you will be able to connect multiple peripherals and external displays thanks to a comprehensive port selection. You need sufficient processing power to complete all your tasks. To assist you in making a purchasing decision, we’ve compiled a list of our recommendations, which includes options for various operating systems and form factors, so you can find something that meets your needs.  We’ve evaluated over 50 laptops and listed below are our recommendations for the best business laptops available for purchase. Check out our suggestions for the best laptops and Chromebooks and all our laptop reviews.

1. Best Overall: LG Gram 17Z95P-K Laptop 17”

The LG gram 17 is the best work laptop we’ve tested (2021). It is a sturdy ultraportable laptop with extended battery life. Its 17-inch display is ideal for split-screen multitasking, and its larger size allows for the inclusion of a Numpad on the keyboard deck, which is helpful for those who work with many numbers. The keyboard is comfortable for long periods of typing, the touchpad is large and responsive, and there are numerous ports for wired peripherals and external displays. The power button includes a fingerprint sensor for expedited logins.

You can configure it with a Core i3, i5, or i7 processor from Intel’s 11th generation, with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. Memory is not user-upgradeable, so if you frequently run multiple applications concurrently, it’s best to purchase additional memory at the outset. It is more than capable of handling productivity tasks such as text formatting, web browsing, spreadsheet creation, and presentation creation. The keyboard gets a little warm under heavy use, but the fans are quiet, so you need not worry about disturbing others in a quiet office environment.

Choose the Dell XPS 13 (2021) if you prefer a smaller laptop. It is also a thin and lightweight Windows laptop, but its smaller size makes it considerably more portable. You still receive a premium device with a comfortable keyboard, responsive touchpad, and good battery life for a typical workday, despite having less screen space for multitasking and losing the numeric keypad. The Dell XPS 15 is a laptop with a screen size between 13 and 17 inches. The XPS 15 has a larger screen and more powerful H-series CPU options, but we have not tested it (Intel 11th or 12th Gen). NVIDIA discrete graphics are optional, so your decision will depend on whether you need the additional graphical power for tasks such as photo and video editing.

Key Features
  • 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1195G7 Processor
  • 17″ IPS LCD WQXGA (2560 x 1600) Display
  • 16GB LPDDR4X 4266MHz RAM, 512GB NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive, No Optical Drive
  • Integrated HD Webcam, Intel Wi-Fi 6 (2×2/160) Gig+ and Bluetooth 5.1, 2x 1.5W Stereo Speakers, Alexa Built-In
  • Microsoft Windows 11 Home
  • Incredibly light for a 17" laptop.
  • Sturdy build.
  • 13-hour battery life in light productivity workloads.
  • Screen provides plenty of space for multitasking.
  • Keyboard is comfortable to type on for extended periods.
  • Power-efficient CPU and integrated graphics can't handle demanding tasks.
  • CPU and GPU throttle under load.
  • Display doesn't handle direct reflections well.

2. Best Upper Mid-Range Business Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 (2021)

The Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 is our pick for the best premium-tier laptop (2021). It is an exceptionally well-constructed 14-inch laptop with a 360-degree hinge. The screen can be opened into tent mode for presentations or media consumption or flipped around and used as a tablet. It comes with a stylus for taking notes or doodling, and you can charge it by inserting the stylus into its slot. The battery lasts approximately nine hours of light use (with the 1080p display), so on extended workdays, you may need to plug it in for a quick charge.  One thing to remember is that there are two color schemes, Mica and Shadow Black, which differ slightly. The Mica model is constructed entirely of metal and features a traditional touchpad (mechanical buttons) and a capacitive fingerprint sensor. In contrast, the Shadow Black model has a leather-clad lid, a haptic touchpad, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Regardless of which model you choose; it is a versatile and feature-rich 2-in-1 that will satisfy most users.  The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (2021) is the best convertible tablet with a detachable keyboard. You can detach the keyboard to save space or make the device lighter and easier to hold, and the kickstand allows you to tilt the screen to a nearly flat position for notetaking or drawing with a stylus. Due to its size, there isn’t much room for many ports or a larger battery, so you’ll need a dock to keep the charger nearby. Additionally, the keyboard and stylus must be purchased separately, which increases the price.
Key Features
  • Processor 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 Processor (3.00 GHz, up to 4.80 GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8 Threads, 12 MB Cache)
  • Memory 16 GB LPDDR4X 4267MHz system memory for intense multitasking and gaming (Soldered)
  • Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD. flash-based SSD has no moving parts, resulting in faster start-up times and data access, no noise, and reduced heat production and power draw on the battery
  • Display 14″ FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS, glossy, touchscreen with 400 nits
  • Intel Iris Xe Graphics Offers stunning graphics. Delight in brilliant color and rich detail on 4K HDR video. Tackle creative projects or popular games with ease.
  • Thin and light design makes it very portable.
  • Battery lasts 9 hours of light productivity.
  • Keyboard feels comfortable to type on for extended periods.
  • Can use intent or tablet mode.
  • Pen included for taking notes.
  • Low-power CPU and integrated GPU can't handle demanding workloads.
  • CPU and GPU throttle under load.
  • Screen doesn't handle bright reflections well.

3. Best Budget Business Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 (2021)

We recommend purchasing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 in the more affordable budget category (2021). Its design is like the midrange Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15 (2021), but it is available with AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors instead of Intel 11th Gen processors.   The Ryzen processors are more than capable of handling most productivity tasks and offer a fluid desktop experience. Furthermore, they are more power-efficient, resulting in a slightly longer battery life. There are some drawbacks, such as the keyboard’s ability to cause fatigue over time and the touchpad’s occasional failure to register specific movements or gestures.   The port selection includes a USB-C port but does not support video output or charging, so you must use the HDMI port to connect an external display and bring the proprietary power adapter. Even though a bit more plastic is involved in the construction, the build quality is still excellent.
Key Features
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Hexa Core Processor
  • Internal storage: 256GB 2242 m.2 NVMe SSD Storage
  • Graphics: Integrated AMD Radeon 7 Graphics
  • Display: 15.6″ FHD Display
  • Memory: 8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM (4GB OnBoard + 4 GB DIMM)
  • Easy to carry around due to thin and light design.
  • Battery lasts over 9 hours of light productivity.
  • Feels well-built.
  • Decent webcam video quality for video calls.
  • CPU can handle most light productivity tasks.
  • CPU and Integrated graphics can't handle demanding workloads like video editing or gaming.
  • Can't charge laptop via USB-C.
  • Keyboard can cause fatigue over an extended period.
  • Small touchpad makes dragging and dropping hard.

4. Best MacBook For Business: Apple MacBook Air 13 (M1, 2020)

The Apple MacBook Air 13 (2021) is the best option for business use among Macs. It has a portable design and a battery life of over 13 hours with light usage. Its M1 SoC (System on Chip) has more than enough processing power for general productivity tasks, and it doesn’t even require active cooling, so there is no fan noise.   The display is crisp, vivid, and colorful, the keyboard is very comfortable to type on, and the touchpad is sizable and responsive. Only two USB-C ports and a headphone jack are available, and the M1 SoC can only output to a single external display.  Choose the Apple MacBook Pro 14 if you require additional ports or support for multiple external displays (2021). It has three USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, a full-size HDMI port, and an SD card reader. If you need to edit photos or videos for your business, you can configure it with an M1 Pro or M1 Max SoC, giving you more graphic processing power than the MacBook Air.   It is significantly more expensive than the MacBook Air, but it may be worthwhile if you require additional features and processing power. If you need a larger screen for multitasking, Apple also offers the MacBook Pro 16 (2021).
Key Features
  • Apple M1 Chip
  • 13” Retina Display
  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB SSD Storage
  • Backlit Keyboard
  • FaceTime HD Camera
  • Touch ID
  • Works with iPhone/iPad; Space Gray
  • Shocking performance with M1 chip
  • Intel-based apps work well
  • Good battery life
  • Retina Display looks great
  • Can run iPhone and iPad apps
  • Great keyboard and trackpad
  • It's light and slim
  • Absolutely silent fanless design
  • Awful 720p webcam
  • IOS apps are a whiff
  • Only two USB-C ports
  • Still has thick bezels
  • Basically, the same physical design as the last two years
  • You'll need to wait for better optimization on Rosetta apps

5. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Nano is an excellent business laptop because it is robust, durable, and portable. The Nano is the lightest laptop on this list at just 2 pounds, but with a tested battery life of 12 hours, it still has enough power to get you through an entire workday without needing to be recharged. You can also pay extra for 4G/5G connectivity if you require mobile connectivity.  Lenovo also did not compromise performance or usability. In addition to the standard suite of security features and durability ratings found on all ThinkPads, the Nano’s Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors provide the speed you need for high productivity levels. Its keyboard offers a responsive and comfortable typing experience befitting the ThinkPad brand. You may want to bring along a USB hub because there are only two Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.
Key Features
  • 13″ 2K Display
  • 11th Gen i7-1160G7 Processor
  • 16GB 4267MHz Memory
  • 1TB SSD
  • Thunderbolt 4, and Windows 10 Pro
  • Incredibly light
  • Immaculate design and engineering
  • Fine keyboard and 16:10 aspect ratio display
  • Impressive battery life
  • Expensive
  • Short on ports
  • No microSD card slot or security lock slot

6. Best 2-in-1 business laptop: HP Spectre x360 14

The HP Spectre x360 14 is a powerful convertible business laptop with a sleek and elegant design that delivers outstanding performance for both works and play. The HP Spectre x360, available in three colors (silver, black, and navy blue) and has an ultra-thin profile of 0.67 inches, brings a touch of sophisticated style to your desk that complements its internal components.  The screen is of a very high quality (FHD+) and has a good brightness level; the content appears vivid and colorful. It would have been preferable if it had been sharper without sacrificing battery life (e.g., non-OLED QHD option). It has a good aspect ratio, so it feels like you’re using a much larger laptop (it never feels like a 13.5-inch one), but it’s just as portable as a small one. Very effective anti-reflective coating, so few reflections are visible in bright rooms. Almost as effective as the Macbook Air in reducing reflections (the Yoga C940 was much worse at this)  Short-term CPU performance is excellent. It consumes 36W momentarily before leveling off at 20-28W (switches between the two). Due to the superior single-core performance of the 7th generation Intel processor, daily tasks such as web browsing experience a significant performance boost.  The keyboard is superior to the Macbook Air and even the ThinkPad, in my opinion, as it is very clicky and has good travel. The trackpad is also excellent; I don’t need to use an external mouse because it is so large and smooth, making gestures straightforward to perform. Superior to Macbook Air (on account of actual click) and Yoga C940 (as it is larger). The laptop had no sharp edges, and the palm rest and keyboard remained cool even under stress.  We believe that the performance and sleek, durable design of the Spectre x360 make it well worth the asking price, even when configured with high-end components. It also includes a rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen, which is ideal for digital artists or anyone who prefers to take handwritten meeting notes.
Key Features
  • HP Spectre x360 Luxury 14T
  • 13.5″ 3:2 WUXGA Touch
  • Intel i7-1195G7
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB SSD+32GB Optane
  • Intel 5G nanoSim Slot,
  • Fingerprint, HP Tilt Pen, Black
  • Win 11 Pro
  • 64GB TechWarehouse Flashdrive
  • Beautiful design
  • 3:2 display with OLED and 1,000-nit options
  • Handy shortcut keys and utility software
  • Rechargeable pen and carrying sleeve in box
  • USB-A, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports
  • >95 percent sRGB coverage standard
  • Exceptional amped quad-speakers
  • Intel 11th Gen delivers long battery life, instant-on
  • Long battery life
  • High price
  • Touchpad is a bit stiff
  • No HDMI ports
  • No LTE mobile broadband option
  • RAM and WLAN not user upgradeable
  • Fingerprint reader replaces Ctrl key

7. Microsoft Surface Laptop 4

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is an excellent option for business use, as it is the company’s closest offering to a flagship Windows laptop. This 2021 addition to the Surface Laptop lineup features premium components in a slim chassis and a Windows 10 installation free of bloatware.  Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 4 is your best bet for a premium Windows laptop that allows you to work from anywhere. It has a comfortable keyboard with well-sized, satisfying keys and an excellent Alcantara deck option that provides your wrists with a bit more comfort than a typical laptop made entirely of metal. With a battery life of over 10 hours and a screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio that makes reading and editing documents more comfortable, this notebook is ideal for on-the-go productivity.  The Surface Laptop 4 may be one of the best laptops for writers, as its keyboard is one of the best we’ve used. It could use a few more ports, but this laptop is easily recommended to anyone who types frequently.
Key Features
  • Power to do what you want with up to 70% more speed and multitasking power than before and exclusive AMD Ryzen Microsoft Surface Edition processor.
  • Thin, light, elegant design in choice of two sizes: light, portable 13.5” or larger 15” that’s perfect for split-screen multitasking.
  • Show your best side on video calls with sharp video and image quality, even in low light, thanks to a front-facing 720p HD camera.
  • Enjoy theater-like sound for movies and shows with Omnisonic Speakers backed by immersive Dolby Atmos6.
  • Be heard loud and clear on calls with dual far-field Studio Mics that capture your voice and reduce background noise.
  • You’re going to need Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Don’t forget to add Microsoft 365
  • Excellent screen
  • Lightweight and affordable
  • Strong sound
  • Very good keyboard
  • Not enough ports
  • No Thunderbolt 4 support
  • 720p webcam
  • Huge bezels

8. Best powerful: Dell XPS 7590 Laptop

The Dell XPS 15 OLED is more than up to the task regardless of whether you desire comfort, style, or power. This stunning computer, equipped with an equally stunning 3.5K OLED display, can perform any task. Due to its high-end internal components, including discrete Nvidia graphics, can handle virtually any workload. As a business laptop, its shorter battery life may be an issue, but its trackpad and keyboard are accurate and comfortable for extended periods. And as is the case with all premium portables from Dell’s XPS line, it is elegantly designed.  The Dell XPS 15 OLED (2021) features the same CNC-machined, scratch-resistant aluminum chassis with carbon fiber or glass fiber interior as its predecessor, as well as the exact 13.57 x 9.06 x 0.57-inch dimensions and portability. In addition to the standard black on platinum silver and arctic white on frost color schemes, it also features woven palm rests that give it an extra touch of elegance.  It’s a bit lighter than the 2021 model, with the OLED version weighing 4.31 pounds (1.96 kg) and the non-touch version beginning at 3.99 pounds (1.81 kg). It will not be as portable as the Dell XPS 13, but the slight weight reduction is significant.  The infrared camera and fingerprint reader are obviously present for Windows Hello and fingerprint logins. Two Thunderbolt ports with PD and DP Alt Mode, one USB-C port with PD and DP Alt Mode, a wedge-shaped lock slot, a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack, and, for creative users, a full-sized SD card reader. These Thunderbolt ports have been upgraded from Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 4, allowing them to support either two 4K displays or one 8K display per port.
Key Features
  • CPU: 11th Gen Intel Core i7 – i9
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti
  • RAM: 16GB – 64GB
  • Screen: 15.6″ OLED 3.5K (3456 x 2160) InfinityEdge Touch Anti-Reflective 400-Nit Display
  • Storage: 512GB – 8TB M.2 PCIe NVMe
  • Webcam in the right place
  • Strong productivity performance
  • Striking 4K OLED display
  • Various configurations available
  • Slim, attractive design
  • Lackluster for gaming
  • Below-average battery life
  • Only 1 NVMe drive
  • Weak audio
  • OLED only offered on most expensive configurations

9. Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021)

Apple’s MacBook Pro lineup may have historically been better suited for creative professionals than business professionals, but the arrival of the Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) appears to change this. This new addition to the MacBook Pro family provides the power and battery life required daily by creative and business professionals.   The M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are certain to deliver the graphical prowess and processing power required by creatives and businesspeople, respectively. Ports are also abundant, with Apple expanding its port selection beyond USB-C. The icing on the cake is the stunning XDR display with a peak brightness of 1600 nits.  While the new design of the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) is one of the most exciting aspects of this product, Apple’s changes to the underlying hardware are even more exciting. The introduction of Apple’s M1 chip in the 13-inch MacBook Pro last year blew us away. The MacBook Pro 13-inch (M1, 2020) and MacBook Air (M1, 2020) can edit 8K videos while boasting excellent battery life.  We noticed when Apple announced not one but two new chips at the MacBook Pro 14-inch launch event. The M1 Pro and M1 Max are available in the 14-inch MacBook Pro and offer significantly superior performance to the M1.  Regardless of which processor you choose, the M1 Pro and M1 Max are significant improvements over the M1 chip, which was already quite capable.  The M1 Pro has a dual-chip architecture that supports up to 32GB of unified memory with a bandwidth of 200GB/s, nearly three times the bandwidth of the M1.
Key Features
  • Apple M1 Pro or M1 Max chip for a massive leap in CPU, GPU, and machine learning performance
  • Up to 10-core CPU delivers up to 3.7x faster performance to fly through pro workflows quicker than ever
  • Up to 32-core GPU with up to 13x faster performance for graphics-intensive apps and games
  • 16-core Neural Engine for up to 11x faster machine learning performance
  • Longer battery life, up to 17 hours
  • Up to 64GB of unified memory so everything you do is fast and fluid
  • Up to 8TB of superfast SSD storage launches apps and opens files in an instant
  • SD Card reader and HDMI
  • Brilliant performance
  • Solid battery life
  • 1080p webcam
  • Gorgeous mini-LED display
  • MagSafe 3 charging is fast
  • Pricier than the competition
  • No memory or storage expansion
  • Entry-level doesn't include the faster-charging plug
  • Camera notch may be obtrusive for some users or applications
  • No Face ID

10. Best Chromebook ever made: Google Pixelbook Go

Google continues its tradition of producing the world’s best Chromebook. This Chromebook demonstrates that these devices can be as powerful and stylish as traditional laptops, and the Pixelbook Go brings many of the premium features of the original Pixelbook to a more affordable device. Additionally, it has an excellent battery life and a superb keyboard, making typing a pleasure. This is one of the most cost-effective business laptops for professionals.  Due to the Pixelbook Go’s Chromebook status and fanless Intel processors, you shouldn’t expect it to deliver exceptional performance. While we cannot comment on the Intel Core m3 performance of the base model, we can say that the Core i5 Y-series is sufficient for basic tasks and even light photo editing.  The laptop can run Android games and 1080p video without issue, but anything beyond that will likely cause the system to stutter. This is advantageous for Google, as its operating system does not support many demanding applications.  We discovered that, with 8GB of RAM, this Chromebook is significantly more capable of multitasking between more than a dozen Google Chrome browser tabs without reloading them upon access. To their detriment, most Chromebooks at this price offer only 4GB of RAM, as Google’s browser is extremely RAM dependent, even after updates.  Moreover, for its price, the Pixelbook Go’s Geekbench 4 scores are comparable to the most recent MacBook Air, based on the configurations we’ve tested. That is quite an accomplishment for a Chromebook and, ironically, for a MacBook Air.  This Pixelbook Go can handle all the tasks required to perform our jobs here at TechRadar. This does not apply to every user, but we have a varied and intensive workload that spans multiple browser tabs and Android applications at any time.
Key Features
  • CPU: Intel Core m3 – Intel Core i7
  • Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 615
  • RAM: 8GB – 16GB
  • Screen: 13.3-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) or 4K LCD touchscreen
  • Storage: 128GB – 256GB eMMC
  • Thin, elegant design
  • Very good 13.3" screen
  • Comfortable, responsive keyboard
  • Rare 1080p webcam
  • Impressive speakers
  • Affordable price
  • 12 hours of rated battery life
  • The Chrome OS platform is solid and stable
  • Display looks a bit dim in direct sunlight
  • Chunky bezels
  • No fingerprint scanner
  • More expensive than non-Google Chromebooks
  • No microSD storage expansion
  • 16:9 screen can feel cramped
  • It's a bit boring to look at

A business laptop is intended for use in the workplace. Manufacturers optimize business laptops for more extended active periods and travel than personal laptops. Consequently, a business laptop’s battery life, speed, and power will be more efficient to accommodate a 40-hour workweek.

Multiple product lines of Microsoft Surface Laptops are suited to the needs of business users. Microsoft Surface Laptop, Surface Laptop Go, and Surface Laptop Studio are distinctive product lines.

What is an acceptable amount of memory for business laptops? 8GB of RAM is sufficient for most users, as most businesses require only essential office-work functions such as web browsing, emailing, and document creation. If you frequently run multiple programs and perform numerous tasks simultaneously, you may require 16GB or more memory.

Business-grade computers include fingerprint readers, remote desktop control software, and encryption tools for professional work. In addition, the professional version of the operating system installed on business computers is better suited for workers than the home version.

Equipped with more potent processors and graphics, business models typically run faster than home/consumer models and provide graphics performance not found in home laptops.

The reality is that 256GB of internal storage is likely to be sufficient for most users who do not have (or anticipate having) a large amount of locally stored photos, video, video games, or music that cannot be easily uploaded to the cloud or a backup drive.

These are, according to us, the best laptops for work that can be purchased now. We consider the price (a less expensive laptop wins over a more expensive one if the price difference is insignificant), visitor feedback, and availability (no laptops that are difficult to find or almost out of stock everywhere).

If you prefer to make your own choice, the following is a list of all our laptop reviews, ordered by price from low to high. Remember that most laptops are available in multiple configurations, and the table only displays the results of the model we tested; please refer to the full review for the information on other configurations.
