Apple launched its annual back-to-school promotion in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea on Friday, offering students a pair of Beats headphones with the purchase of eligible discounted hardware.
Apple’s international back-to-school promotion offers Beats headphones with Mac or iPad Pro purchases made through the company’s regional education stores.
When purchasing a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, MacBook, iMac Pro, iMac, or Mac Pro in 2019, students, teachers, and school staff can choose between Apple’s Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones and Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones. Customers may also select a pair of Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones at a substantial discount.
Those who purchase a new iPad Pro, including the 10.5-inch model from the previous year, will receive a free pair of Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones, while Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones and Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones are available at steep discounts. In Australia, for instance, Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones cost A$140, while Studio3 Wireless headphones cost A$190.
In addition to Beats incentives, education store customers receive standard discounts on Mac and iPad Pro devices, as well as 20% off AppleCare+ plans.
Apple is promoting its GiveBack program and offering trade-in credit towards the purchase of a new Mac or iPad Pro in all regions.
The back-to-school promotion is available until March 15 to university students and faculty in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea.
Apple’s Back to School promotion is expected to launch in the United States and other countries this summer, but buyers in the United States can already take advantage of deals offered by authorized hardware resellers. Shoppers can save up to $250 on upgraded 2018 MacBook Pro models and $200 on the standard 15-inch 2018 MacBook Pro. Additionally, resellers are offering up to $1,500 off fully-loaded 2017 MacBook Pro models at closeout prices.
In addition, purchasers of Apple’s newest tablet can save up to $280 on iPad Pro.
