It appears that not a single day passes without news of Samsung’s Android 13 development. The Galaxy M42 5G can now be added to the list of devices that have received the One UI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13.
In the Indian subcontinent, the Galaxy M42 5G (SM-M426B) appears to have received One UI 5.0. The new firmware update includes the November 2022 security patch and has version number M426BXXU3CVK.
One UI 5.0 introduces a new way to customize the lock screen, enhanced performance, and UI animations, a simpler way to manage background apps, redesigned Settings app, and a more streamlined experience overall. Even though, at first glance, One UI 5.0 appears to be very similar to One UI 4.1.
