Tanaka THB-260PF Commercial Gas Powered Handheld Blower Review
The Tanaka THB-260PF Commercial Grade Blower is a gas powered, handheld blower with a 25CC, 1.3 horsepower, two-stroke engine featuring cruise control. When you need maximum power, the Tanaka THB-260PF fits the bill with its high volume fan nozzle that allows you to directionally blow leaves and debris, getting your lawn jobs done faster and easier.
The fan nozzle features an innovative design that is both rounded and flat, allowing more control over the direction in which leaves are blown. In addition to its robust leaf blowing ability, the Tanaka Commercial Grade Gas Powered Blower also has an optional vacuum available and shredding capability.
The PureFire low emission two-stroke engine is CARB compliant, so it’s fine for use by California residents. With a 50:1 gas to oil ratio, this leaf blower is also EPA Phase II compliant. The fuel tank size is about 20.3 ounces. The noise level of the blower is 68 DBA. With air speeds up to 180 MPH and air volume of 393 CFM, the blower’s optional vacuum attachment will give up to 368 CFM for suction.
A great choice in commercial leaf blowers, the Tanaka THB-260PF also comes standard with cruise control setting and a soft elastomer grip for comfort. This leaf blower comes with a 2-year commercial use warranty or a three-year consumer warranty.

Tanaka Commercial Grade Gas Powered Blower Reviews
There weren’t too many reviews we could find for the Tanaka THB-260PF, but the ones we found were positive, with each reviewer rating the leaf blower 4.0 stars out of 5 stars.
The reviewers were happy with the blower overall. One commented that the blower is very quiet, considering it’s a powerful gas powered blower. A reviewer on a second site stated the engine has a lower tone, and thus seems quieter.
The reviewers felt the Tanaka worked well for its intended use. One person mentioned that the high volume fan nozzle was his favorite part of the blower, allowing him to clear an area without the blowback sometimes experienced with other leaf blowers.
Along with the positive comments, there were a couple of drawbacks. One reviewer mentioned that the Tanaka leaf blower is so powerful that he found it twisting his hand quite a bit while using it. Another reviewer wasn’t pleased with his purchase of the mulching attachment and didn’t feel that it lived up to the manufacturer’s description. Finally, another reviewer was disappointed to learn that the leaf blower is made in China, rather than Japan, as he had previously believed.
Overall, Tanaka THB-260PF Commercial Grade Leaf Blower had good comments and reviews. If you’re in the market for a commercial blower or have a large yard to maintain, this is a decent choice for the money. Not quite as powerful as some of the backpack models we’ve seen, but for the price, it does the job.
