Optics

The Nerf Stryfe ranks among his colleagues with the typical colors: blue, orange and white. As I said before, the Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe is a semi-automatic pistol, which is a bit bigger or longer than some of the other pistols like the longer hammer shotDo you get a mix of Nerf machine gun and gun – a machine gun? Could be said. In any case still beautifully handy and nevertheless strong. The Nerf Stryfe has 2 Tactical Rails on which modding accessories such as a lamp, a visor or similar can be pushed on. Shoulder rests, and attachments for the barrel can also be attached.

Technology

The Nerf Elite Stryfe is a semi-automatic pistol and needs batteries accordingly – 4 AA batteries prompt the Stryfe so it can go off properly. Underneath the trigger is a second “acceleration trigger,” which allows you to start the stalks briefly before you can shoot darts adequately. If the engine is still not accelerated, you can still shoot – but not quite so far. The acceleration process also lasts only 1-2 seconds.

Modding

On the Stryfe, all modus kits can be installed – Mission, Stealth, Ammo and Range Kit are no problem for the modding miracle. Target bin, biped, shield, and so on. Furthermore, all clip magazines fit in. So if the magazine of 6 is not enough – probably quite a lot – that can be synonymous every other N-Strike clip magazine insert. For more information about the module kits, click here: Nerf Modding

Tuning

From Blasterparts, there is a horny tuning set for the Nerf Elite Stryfe: The Voltage-Mod. It does not have to be disassembled; instead of the normal AA batteries, the special batteries are used, which provide a lot more voltage and significantly improve the range. With the voltage mod, you can shoot loose 30 meters wide. Perfect conditions for the next war! Interested? Check the Voltage Mod: Nerf Tuning .

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe – small but extremely impressive!

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe is a damn impressive blaster. This semi-automatic blaster is another within the Nerf N-Strike Elite series and is one of the smaller blasters. According to Hasbro, it should be possible to shoot the darts over 20 meters wide.

Design and ergonomics

The Blaster Nerf Stryfe is very good in its hand thanks to its (small) size and allows a corresponding flexibility in movement and combat. Also, with a weight of almost 700 grams, it is also quite light and can be carried loose as a second blaster.

The Stryfe comes in the usual colors blue, white and orange of the elite models, therefore. Thanks to the built-in Tactical Rail-Rail, the Nerf Stryfe can also be boosted by additional Nerf accessories. The Nerf accessory is usually not included in the standard package and must be purchased separately.

The magazine with the six darts is pushed in the middle of the story from below. As we will explain in the following, we can not quite get along with the size of the magazine.

Handling and performance

In our tests with the N-Strike Elite Nerf Stryfe, we were able to reach a reasonable range of about 15 meters with a horizontal attitude of the blaster and about 18 meters with an angled shot. This is not the range the Hasbro indicates, for the size of the Blaster but neat and sufficient, if you are not straight on open (large) field opposes your opponent.

The real highlight of this nerf blaster is its fire rate. If you look at him, we were astonished that we could fire two darts per second thanks to the semi-automatic system, and also rarely found any blockages! At this rate, however, something of the range “flutes.” Due to the fast firing, the clamping mechanism cannot charge 100% and thus loses some power. Nevertheless, we could still reach ranges of 12 to 13 meters.

As already mentioned, we are quite impressed by the good fire rate. We are somewhat disappointed, however, for the size of the Nerf magazine. At the fire rate of two darts per second, you would already be in the competition after 3 seconds without ammunition, or you would have to recharge. Here we would have wanted a little more vision of the developers. The solution is that you either have one or more clip magazines as a stock or a larger magazine with more darts if you want to participate in competitions seriously.

Another disadvantage is the volume of the semi-automatic, which is unusually loud therefore comes. A point of these two problems does not create the world, the image of the elite Stryfe but at least something brightness is the accuracy. Where other blasters are entirely inaccurate, the Nerf Stryfe is comparatively reliable with the precision of the darts.

Conclusion on the Nerf Stryfe

Even if the magazine is empty in the worst case after three seconds (because of the steady fire rate), the Blaster Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe is great fun. Concerning. of the magazine, we will give you a tip to look for larger ones with more darts – if the wallet permits😉

Recommended is the Nerf Stryfe in nerf battles particularly since a second blaster or if you are on narrow terrain with shorter distances.
