Nerf Stormtrooper Blaster Review – Nerf Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster Review

Optics

In the Nerf Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster, we find the usual colors: orange, gray & white. So that the Blaster looks more like “Stormtrooper-like,” the color white dominates the plastic of the blaster. The fact that the Stormtrooper Deluxe is equipped with the Slamfire mode (explained below), which is actuated at the lower part of the barrel, reminds strongly of the Nerf Rampage – with which you also insert the magazine at the side. Rampage Reloaded, you could say – in the cool Star Wars design and with a white magazine of 12.

From here, the shoulder rest and a target telescope are supplied, in which the grain is correspondingly located. If the target telescope removes, the Nerf Gun has no spare grain, with which one can aim.

Technology

The Nerf Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster comes without batteries and can be operated either by a single shot or in slamfire mode. A brief explanation of Slamfire: Hold the trigger and push the handle, which is at the front part of the barrel, as fast as you can back and forth. A dart is shot every time the handle is pulled – basically just as with the Rampage.

To insert, pull the handle back briefly, clip the magazine and push the handle forward again. Here we go!

Modding

In terms of modulator kits, the Deluxe Blaster does not make much of itself. On the centerpiece is a Tactical Rail on which you can attach lamps, targets, and such things. Apart from that, unfortunately, there is not much to do here – scopes, so exchanging target telescopes is not a problem – further features such as a two-legged or a second handle will not exist here – there is the slamfire function. More info on kits: Nerf Modding

Tuning

Also for the Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster, Blasterparts has just launched a tuning spring for better reach. The blaster has to be dismantled for the installation – so be careful if you want to install a spring. If you want to do your Stormtrooper Deluxe, you can find information here: Nerf Tuning

Nerf Star Wars Episode VII Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster

In time for the launch of Episode VII of the Star Wars series, Hasbro launched his first Nerf guns in the Star Wars look. In the new series, several Blaster models such as the Stormtrooper laser gun “Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster” and Chewbacca’s pistol the await us.

Instead of the usual 8-year recommendation, we find on the Eliteblättern a 6-year notice, which, of course, first points to low performance, good for all Nerf parents and bad for all Nerf battle players we think. What the Nerf Stormtrooper Blaster is good for, and if we shoot as precise as a Stormtrooper (not at all) you will get this test.

Nerf Stormtrooper Blaster Design

Our Stormtrooper Blaster comes in a stylish white design, with beautiful details such as ventilation slits and red charge lights (painted). In the heart, however, it is a small Rampage, and we hope for a similarly good performance!

In addition to the blaster, a magazine holder is mounted on the left side (click system), a small and hollow target telescope, a shoulder support as well as a 12 magazine. In the magazine, we can insert the red Elite Darts, some of which have a Star Wars brand print (see the one in the pack).

Despite the small size of the Nerf Gun, it has a great ergonomic feel and a comfortable grip. It offers comfortable distances for both children and adults. The loading lever (primer) is under the barrel and runs very smoothly. This is helpful because it makes the slam fire easier for us and we can fire more “lasers” the second on the evil rebels. If the Nerf Stormtrooper Blaster can get stuck, we can simply use the side flap (De-Jamer) to get the darts out. Practically, it closes automatically when the loading lever is moved forward.

A small point of criticism is the run-out since here no other run extensions can be attached. Otherwise, the Blaster is fully compatible with all other Nerf Guns. Like the shoulder rest, we can not take it off but for other Nerf guns use. Also, the Stormtrooper Blaster has a Tac Rail, who would not use this for the mini-target telescope could use here a Nerf Modulus target telescope.

Shortly above the mouth, we find the grain, which is designed so that you can attach a two-point carrying strap – practically.

Conclusion and range of the Stormtrooper Blaster

We know a bit about the adaptation to the younger target group from 6 years, because the flight speed is not quite as good as the Nerf cut, here we arrive at about 17.70 meters per second while most elite blasters 21 meters create. We are pleased with the fire rate; the blaster shoots fast and smoothly! Funnily, the shot frequency is similar to that of the real Stormtrooper laser gun from the Star Wars films.

The range is for a small blaster with an average of 11.70 meters in order (flat) and angle, we even get to 18.60 in average. This is always enough for Star Wars LARPs or small triple tails. Only Nerf battles would then perhaps prefer to Nerf Rampage. The jamming is almost non-existent.

Conclusion: The Nerf Stormtrooper Blaster is a great Nerf gun with a high shot frequency and medium range as well as accuracy. Star Wars fans and LARPER are still attacking and all who want to please their children.
