Test report for the N-Strike Elite Nerf Stockade
Upgrade to a high level
With the N-Strike Elite Nerf Stockade, Hasbro has once again produced a successor model of a well-known blaster. The Nerf N-Strike Barricade RV-10 was well-remembered and extremely popular with the Nerf fans because of its semi-automatic. Whether the Nerf Stockade is a real extension, we show you in this review.
Design and ergonomics
Who knows the Barricade RV-10, will be able to establish many similarities to the Nerf Stockade. In principle, both blasters are very similar in appearance, size, and shape. The typical elite color is almost the only truly perceptible difference – except for With the Nerf Stockade you also get a shoulder-rest, which you can infect as well as take away! This shoulder rest offers several advantages. So you can hold the SMG-like Nerf Stockade against the shoulder and keep the Blaster so stable and quiet. Correct, this can be extremely helpful to target the target. Also, you can store spare arrows in the shoulder rest. So there are ten additional darts available in the drum magazine next to the ten darts in the drum magazine, which you can directly handle for reloading.
Handling and performance
The N-Strike Elite Nerf Stockade has the same as its predecessor the on / off switch on thumb height. It would have been desirable if, as with other blowers, an action trigger would have been installed, which would have activated the semi-automatic only when needed and active. Nothing is possible, the semi-automatic allows an incredibly fast fireworks, which you can fire at your opponents. In principle, it depends only on how fast you can push the trigger! So after some practice, it is already possible to fire about two arrows per second.
Like its predecessor, the Nerf Stockade also runs with a drum magazine containing ten darts. As mentioned above, thanks to the shoulder support you now have twice as many darts with the fast hand. The shoulder support tuned the Nerf Stockade so not only outwardly. In our eyes, this is a brilliant idea of the developers, because in the heat of the battle every arrow is necessary.
In comparison, the distance has only slightly improved. In our tests, we came to about 15 meters in the horizontal shooting, up to 20 meters when firing with inclination. So the Nerf Stockade among the elite models unfortunately only in the middle. For this, the developers seem to have put special effort into the accuracy. The darts have only slightly scattered and compared to other blasters it can be described as one of the more accurate ones.
Something negative was the vibrations of the model. But that is whining at a higher level and ultimately just our opinion. Other Nerf fans may like this extra feature, perhaps, because it gives a proper feel.
The N-Strike Elite Nerf Stockade can be described as a fun blaster, with which you can clean up well in Nerf battles! Particularly with the shoulder support, a considerable enlargement has already occurred here. It looks not only cooler but also brings some advantages in Nerf battles! Also, a few more features could be improved compared to the previous model. For fans of the Barricade RV-10, however, the improvements may not be sufficient, but this is a known problem when you bring a successor to an already good model.
