The Rebelle series developed by Hasbro is specially designed for girls, the Nerf Rebelle Heartbreaker Bow served as the first product, although it is a Nerf Bow. If you look at YouTube videos on the bow, use it apparently especially girls between 6 and 14 years. Unlike most of the rest of the Nerf Gun series, very few adults and teenagers can handle the Nerf Heartbreaker Bow. This can, of course, be due to the color scheme.
- Different colors and printed darts
- New priming system
- Includes Tactical Rail Dart Holder
- Low performance
- Price-performance ratio
Heartbreaker design and ergonomics
The Heartbreaker Bow itself is designed for single fire, a front loader and spring-loaded. To release, pull the string on the handle backward. All this is just wasteful, not the tendon, but the spring mechanism that we pull with the pull of the handle, and then it rushes. Theoretically one could even remove the cord (the handle turns however unpleasant).
The Heartbreaker is, therefore, neither bow nor blaster but a mix of both. We do not know whether a little girl is disturbed. What is it, however, happy (and all other fans!) Is that the bow is available in four colors, A. Gold and Purple. The supplied darts are also printed (as collectibles). The pressure has the positive effect of improving the durability of the darts; they fly longer stable.
Also, the bow provides a tactical rail on the barrel as well as a convenient dart holder which we can even put on other nerf guns (for six darts). On the contrary, the Tac Rail of the Heartbreaker Bow is not suitable, because the bow arms of each target device would be in the way. Unfortunately, sometimes the string jammed into one of the dart brackets, because of the necessary reloading process, but it does not really matter – so no fire for small princesses.
Styling and performance of the Nerf bow
The whole construction of the Nerf Heartbreaker Bows makes a precise goal quite difficult, and goal accuracy is probably not his Existenzweck. Rather, he is supposed to give girls the opportunity to be cool like Katniss Everdeen (Tribute of Panem) or to emulate other heroes, who put the bow back into the spotlight of pop culture.
The main reason for the low target accuracy is the unstable position in hand. By releasing the trigger mechanism, one automatically tears and the tendon slacks to the left and right, which stimulated energy. When pulling out, keep the handle out of the way. Otherwise, the dart will not disengage or simply flop to the floor.
All these are reasons why the Nerf Heartbreaker from the Rebelle series also does not convince with the performance values. The range varies between 8.5 and 15 meters, with 10 meters as a unique means. The shot speed is an average of 16.7 meters per second – which is low in comparison and negatively affects accuracy. As with most muzzleloaders, the rate of fire depends very much on the speed of the user; you could already get to 0.5 – 1 dart the second.
Rebelle Heartbreaker Bow Conclusion
A great bow for young ladies who just look for something fun or for crazy modders who want an entirely different blaster than anyone else has. Nerf battle veterans or Human versus Zombies players are taking the Heartbreaker of the Rebelle series for suicide attempts.
