The Nerf CycloneShock is probably one of the best blasters of recent years! If you see an N-Strike Elite Mega Nerf CycloneShock on the shop shelves, you will experience a comically mixed feeling of Déjà-Vu and brand new. It seems as if Hasbro’s designers and developers had thrown together the best of the familiar Nerfs to create a super Nerf! The Elite Strongarm clamping mechanism, the easy reloading of the Elite Stockade and the easy handling and cool exterior of the Mega Magnus seem to be united in a nerf. Surely such a combination can optically synonymous times in the pants, but in this case, it looks really good. The Nerf CycloneShock is MASSIVE!
- Well, balanced – lies well in hand.
- Very long range
- Massive design
- Bath-ass design
- Pretty big for small hands
- Reloading takes longer
Design and ergonomics
After a closer look at the Nerf CycloneShock, you will soon discover the many small details on the blaster, which distinguishes it from other conventional products from other brands. A unique feature, for example, is the branding texture in the housing. Other is the different colors, the lack of cheap stickers, the special blaster and a lot more. Also, Hasbro seems to have paid particular attention to the balance of the design. The Nerf CycloneShock looks sleeker than you’d expect it to be. In short, this blaster was cleverly designed and looks good!
Also from an ergonomic point of view, the Ner CycloneShock is a masterpiece. It holds easily in the hands and is easy to fire. Another advantage is their compact size. It is not made specifically for children and is therefore also good in the hands of adults. The blaster handle has a reasonable size, and the trigger allows a good handling. The blaster is a bit heavy – the weight is especially in the front part. But it does not look clunky but just right for this blaster. All in all, we can say the developers of the Nerf CycloneShock a compliment.
Handling and performance
Dies ist leider auch die Schwachstelle von sonst einigen guten Nerfs, einschließlich des Elite Nerf Retaliators, Fortunately, the Mega Darts are slightly better than the Elite Darts, but the Nerf CycloneShock also has its accuracy problems. Our tests gave an “Ok” result, but still a few arrows from the shot line. It seems as if Hasbro had problems with project design.
Finally, we also tested the fire rate, and the Nerf CycloneShock achieved a very good result. In just two seconds we were able to fire the six dirt piles! This means you can shoot three darts per second on your opponents! Considering that the Nerf CycloneShock has no special features, the damn good value! However, the reloading process may take some time. All in all, this blaster is better than normal single shot models.
Conclusion on the Nerf CycloneShock
As mentioned above, the Nerf CycloneShot lacks in accuracy, but the fun factor does not stop. While there are other blasters with the double price on the market, which is not nearly as good as this blaster, you can recommend this model with a clear conscience for young as well as an adult. And as already mentioned, the Nerf N-Strike Elite Mega CycloneShock brings a lot of fun with it – and that’s what it’s all about, or (!)? In contrast to some other blasters, this elite model keeps its promises and does not let you down in Nerf battles!
