Husqvarna 125BVx Blower Gas Powered Review

The Husqvarna 125BVx 28cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered 170 MPH Blower/Vac With Smart Start is a lightweight, handheld leaf blower that features an ergonomic design that’s perfect for both the professional landscaper and those that need to do lawn work around their home.

As powerful as this leaf blower, the design was created with the user in mind. With an ergonomic shape, the blower is easy to handle and helps to cut down on user fatigue that is experienced with some leaf blowers. The Husqvarna 125BVx weighs in at a mere 9.6 pounds, lighter than many other powerful blowers. The handle is a soft grip and adjustable. The design also helps to keep your carrying wrist from twisting from the force of the blower.

The included flare nozzle allows for higher airspeeds which let you get the job done faster and easier. Also included is a vacuum kit for vacuuming and mulching leaves and debris. An auto-return stop switch automatically resets the blower to an on position allowing for easier starting every time.

The adjustable fan speed makes handling easier, and the blower tube length is adjustable, as well.

The gas-powered engine is CARB compliant, and the blower features a Smart Start system. This ensures that the 125BVx starts quickly and easily with minimal effort.

Husqvarna 125BVx Leaf Blower Reviews

Overall the Husqvarna Gas Powered Leaf Blower received great reviews, with only a few negative comments. Reviewers gave the 125BVx an average rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 stars.

Several reviewers mentioned the ease with which the Husqvarna blower starts up. The quality was mentioned as being exceptional by several people as well. One reviewer found that the ergonomic design indeed created less fatigue than other blowers he had used.

Reviewers felt the leaf blower was quite powerful and also relatively quiet, as gas-powered leaf blowers go. Most had no problems with it, and several mentioned that it easily cleared up debris and leaves quickly.

The only complaints about the Husqvarna 125BVx Leaf Blower were related to issues surrounding missing parts when the blower arrived. While it doesn’t happen too often, once in a while an item will arrive with parts missing – or defective – and typically a quick call to the manufacturer will get things sorted out. One person did have trouble with the blower and found that it didn’t work well for him. Again, this may be related to a blower that shipped out as defective, and because there is a warranty, this is an issue that Husqvarna could easily remedy.

Our Verdict

With nearly 80% of reviewers giving the Husqvarna leaf blower a 4 star or higher rating, we feel this a tool worth considering. The 125BVx is a bit pricey, around $190 normally, but we were able to find it on sale at Amazon. For jobs around the home, this seems to be a good, solid choice.
